Accept Your Past

You play as Mother whose goal is to bring glowing orbs back home filled with memories from better days. You traverse the everchanging forest where you will meet twisted enemies, gaping cliffs, and giant toys blocking your way. You go through the world by outrunning your enemies, hiding from them, and pushing anyone and anything else that stands in your way.

I Was The Game And Level Designer

My tasks included defining the gameplay loop (goals, gameplays, and mechanics), paper prototype action and stealth mechanics, balancing difficulty over time, varying game challenges, constructing digital levels in Unity, playtesting with target group, and communicating the design to a 13-people team with various skills and backgrounds. I also did bits of programming. The game was designed based on rationale game design theory.
